The Greensboro Alumni Chapter is extremely proud to announce the Soaring Eagles Scholarship. To align with NCCU’s commitment to high academic achievement and service to society, this scholarship will support outstanding students who exhibit exceptional academic, citizenship and leadership characteristics.  Ideal candidates are dedicated to contributing positively to the quality of study and life at the University. The Greensboro Alumni Chapter will be awarding a limited number of scholarships to qualifying students. We strongly encourage students to carefully review the eligibility requirements and application process prior to applying.

Applications MUST be submitted no later than April 1, 2024. Incomplete and/or late submissions will not be considered. We will confirm receipt of your application package by email. Eligibility Requirements and Criteria

• Submit a completed scholarship application.

• Must be a resident of Guilford County

• Must be enrolling as a full-time student for the upcoming Fall semester or currently enrolled at NCCU.

• Must have a Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

  • Copy of NCCU acceptance letter or proof of enrollment

  • Copy of SAT/ACT scores 

  • Unofficial school transcript

  • Letter of recommendation
